About Me
ALL ABOUT ME?!?!?!? REALLY?!?!? You shouldn't have....I love it when it's all about me... nah, I'm actually not THAT egotistical...well...maybe just a lil bit...anyways... I am gay...hahaha...straight to the point, eh? (no pun intended-hahaha)...
So here it goes, hold on to your computers ladies and gentlemen this will be one hell of a ride...I have no clue as to where I should begin. My life has been nothing but a series of unfortunate events up until recently...I have found that ONE solid thing in my life, and can share with him, everything my heart and mind desires. We live in a new city--starting off a whole new chapter in my/our life.
We moved to Philadelphia, PA from Charlotte, NC in search of a new future and to create an invigorating way of living--together! Philadelphia just didn't have what we were looking for with our future--so we decided to make a move to Chicago, IL--we just moved to the South Loop area of downtown Chicago on July 17th, 2007, so we are getting acclimated with our new city and new people...it's a much larger city...with better people, better conditions, and just better all around! hahahahha! Philthadelphia was getting way too ghetto and had too much of a small-town feel--we moved from from Charlotte, NC to get away from that...We've both never lived in the midwest...we hear the summers are totally fun--and it actually SNOWS in the winter!!! YAY!!!
I am an aspiring author, fashion/interior designer, and also an artist-to which I put forth all my frustrations and passion onto a canvas, to later create a MASTERPIECE one day. I am not afraid to boast about myself--thats what I call CONFIDENCE-- others may view that as egotistical, what do they know?
I have dealt with a lot of life changing occurrences in my lifetime too many to be only in my mid-twenties! Regardless of that, (I dont want to create an atmosphere for the readers to feel sorry for me), so I am quite adventurous, challenging, open-minded, loveable, beautiful, creative, revolutionary (in more ways than less), and IN love.
...So anyways, I have an amazing boyfriend now and couldn't ask for anything else...Anyways....I am a straight acting type of guy...my sexuality is such a small part of who I am...however, when it comes to harrassment or anything that would exclude me from my natural born rights as a human being it will become ALL of me.... I knew I was gay since I was in 3rd grade.... you can NOT tell me that people CHOOSE to be something they have NO idea what it is at that age....nor would anyone choose to be something that is soo hated these days, however the community has come a VERY long way.... I dont surround myself in it though...I think everyone is entitled to do and be whatever is it they want to be w/out worrying about other people's judgement, TO EACH HIS OWN people...remember that....I am pretty much a guy that is against tradition and "the system"...I am a VERY liberal guy, I am against most of things this country stands for, like for instance: I dont believe in the military, I dont believe in censorship, and I dont believe in teaching your offspring to live the way you chose to exist...
I believe in...
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so
remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend . You'll blame a new love for things an old one did . You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love . So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
I'm all about...
Making new friends! ***NO HIDDEN AGENDA--NO MOTIVES OTHER THAN FRIENDSHIP--NO SEXUAL INTENTIONS***...I am in a relationship, and so most of the time you would be hanging out with the two of us...we are looking for just good old fashioned friendship!! I just wanted to get that out of the way...people tend to judge profiles on here and anything they see on myspace...and of course you can't judge a book by its cover...my profile is just for sex appeal...I am VERY comfortable with my sexuality and with sex itself...so I don't shy away from it or judge others who do the same or don't... but anyways...As long as you just want to be friends...and that's it---I dont care what you do in your personal life or behind closed doors by yourself or with others...
I love charismatic people, people with emotion...someone who is NOT afraid to talk about what's on their mind. People who love to hang out and kick back a few martinis...or grab a quick coffee or tea...who can stay up till the weeee hours of the morning...who loves to talk and talk and talk...even if its about random things...I would love to meet people who are fun...not ashamed of who they are...not afraid to be themselves around everyone they come to contact with...I dont like shapeshifters(the people who change around others to fit in)...I love people...and I love meeting people....I love charismatic people, people with emotion...someone who is NOT afraid to talk about what's on their mind.. someone who doesnt mind crying...someone who feels things...and can express how they feel....any takers?
I live for...
Music, reading, writing, painting, drawing, movies, cooking, walking around the city, coffee/espresso, healthy foods, fashion, gym, keeping fit, spending time with Chris, and of course sex--who doesnt enjoy that??!! I am quite the sexual person really, not that my profile doesn't show that or anything...hahahaha! But what can I say? Nothing really! It's just I am not afraid to put it out there! Some people are just so afraid to show or say what they feel or enjoy--I on the other hand, am the opposite--I will say and do whatever I feel--I am not afraid of anything or anyone. SEX and NUDITY is part of human nature what could possibly be wrong with showing or saying something that is under ALL of our clothes and what we ALL do for pleasure and fulfillment--we are ALL part of that cycle!
Music
Music is MY life....If I had a choice to be either blind or deaf...I would choose blind...however I hope to NEVER be forced to choose, but I think you know what I mean... anyways I choose blindness because I feel that everyone can remember what things look like and you can always have someone tell you(because you are not deaf) what something looks like with textures to feel, the color being told to you, etc...however if you were deaf you could NEVER know what it sounds like...you would forget what the ocean sounds like, what a voice sounds like, and you would NEVER EVER get to hear music...and I think a life w/out music is no life at all...and I mean that...but anyways...I love to write and one of the things I want to do before I die is write music/songs for artists...I am always looking for cool underground places to go to see REAL music at its rawness, the REAL stuff...this website has introduced me to some real cool bands and singers...and it's so amazing to see the talent that is actually local as well...nothing like seeing them at the prime of their career...but anyways...my fave types of music are Electronic/Chill, House/Trance, Euro Club, Indie, Rock, some Alternative Rock, Folk Rock, Singer/Songwriter, and British Rock....My fave artists range...the meter is open wide with this one...I would also like to go on about Imogen Heap! Some of you may know her from Frou Frou...she was the lead singer...I ordered her solo album "Speak for Yourself" from London b/c its not released in the US yet...I am a HUGE fan of Frou Frou...and now of her....ever since I got the CD I have NOT went anywhere w/out her! I just recently bought her actual 1st REAL debut album called "I-Megaphone" that was released in the UK in 1996!! That record label dropped her--and now you can't find the album ANYWHERE-you can get the Import Version from Japan--its a 2-Disc set...so anyways, the album is actually out of stock int the entire world--so you have to buy it from someone or somewhere that has it already--I did extensive searching and found it in Brazil--STILL FACTORY SEALED!! I am SOOOO excited--however the songs are on I-Tunes from that album--it's just not the same as saying "Yes, that is the out of stock, collector's album" So that brings me to...Why is America SOOO behind on music???....moving on...Mika he has been one my favorite obssessions!! He's one the leading artists in the gay community with music!! Every gay man should own him and The Scissor Sisters!! Which is another great band that I own everything of!! Presently, Mika and Milosh have been on repeat on my Ipod for months now!! Here are all of the albums/artists that I can't live without and own EVERY single one of their albums...yes I have quite the collection...on I-Tunes and in CD...I could seriously open my own music store! haha...so for the list:

Dislikes
Now I can tell you what I am TIRED of meeting...people who are insensitive, judgemental, hypocritical, pretentious, backstabbing, and cant say what they really mean! People just need to say what they mean...and not be afraid to say it nor afraid to be who they are! Im not up for petty bullshit..."Old buddy, I think there's something about me that just scares the **** out of them. Something they just can't handle"--excerpt from one of my fave books We Don't Live Here Anymore--by Andre Dubus....
Virtues
And let me share a little bit of encouragement to all you guys seeking that ONE person for you: "Gay men are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy ... So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree." I hope that gives you some sort of hope for the future. It's so hard to NOT think there is anything wrong with you... but now that someone has given me that advice....I've put things in perspective...and read the book "He's Just Not that Into You"--yes its primarily for women to read, but its TRUE for every person that dates men...It really shows you how men are...even if you are a man, I learned so much about myself, I even called up ex boyfriends to apologize for some of things I've done that I read most men do....
