does anyone remember this show almost as much as i do? it was the next step from saved by the bell.
i watched the promo about four times..and it looks to me like a mix of gossip girl, the o.c., one tree hill and just about any show on the w-b. wait, is it still the w-b?
anywho, i am wondering what it will be like...i mean, getting to know a whole new set of characters is A LOT of time, work and dedication. i'm fearful i will NEVER know this new class the way i knew the peach pit gang and i will say it outloud..i don't think i wanna!
this may just be me....BUT....why didn't anyone put together the original cast and have THEM do their own show with families except the focus is still on kelly taylor, brenda walsh, dylan mckay, david silver and donna FREAKIN martin!?!
and although they're married and some have stable jobs..they still sleep around and do serious drugs..they still have crooked parents..they still meet up at the peach pit and chunk a few quarters at their kiddos to play the newly-updated wii fit that nat now has in the diner before they get to their super huge cups of red-bull infused lattes??
then we can keep the tradition going and add some lost-like flashbacks where the producers put in old footage within the new..refreshing long time fans and re-introducing the goods to the first-timers!
yeah, we can have some silly kid story-line too..like andrea's son is gay and she spends millions of beverly hills money to get david silver's doctor-father to operate..thinking that will fix it..or kelly taylor and brenda walsh's kiddos are in a girl gang who "roll" in new members with rooftop rumbles and alley brawls staying clad in michael kors' duds and stila lipgloss!
and the best part would be that brendan walsh and dylan mckay..even steve sanders adopt the same motto as "dazed and confused"..."that's what i like about high school girls...i get older, they stay the same age"....
even donna martin graduates can be donna martin ovulates!
completely television like...but so much more entertaining and salacious...

HEIDI MONTAG and SPENCER PRATT make $65,000 per episode which appears to be the going rate for a total douche but a mere dime off what L.C. makes...

WHAT THE HELL....oh man. i read this earlier and chuckled outloud, santa claus style.
my favorite is the brody jenner part..mainly because he just came to the chi and some silly bar hired him to host "an evening with brody jenner"...for about the same amount..which in a nutshell..is him and his goof-ball friends..sitting in a sectioned off area..with a make-shift velvet rope..a couple of bouncers who would hilariously be the first to bust his ****...and a couple announcements on the mic that go like this.."what's up chi-town, it's brody jenner on a lil show you may know called THE HILLS on MTV!".....
**crickets, crickets**
it cracks me up because this guy not only has "brody jenner" tattoo'd down his OWN body but his dad is bruce jenner. right? right?

i grew up in texas. i rode horses, yes. toilet-papered houses..repeatedly. put "sun-in" in my hair during the summers..played indoor soccer..hosted slumber parties with pizza and big-red..even joined the choir at one point...
BUT NEVER. NEVER did anything as easy as the above EVER happen to me. EVER.
did any of you have anything like this happen? do you guys remember school shopping at marshall's (which i STILL love) or solo serve? did anyone remember how you didn't realize your parents were on a budget until they said.."why no? because we are poor!"...???
i adore my parents..they gave me what they had and they gave it all..they still would today if i didn't have anything..but i do have a little..and what little i have..i give right back to them and to those i love....

i was thinking about this tour...which coincidentally went hand in hand with her STOOPID a-rod scandal (which i found i got my most restful sleep during) and thought to myself..."why?'.
if she is literally the mother of re-invention, why do we keep getting the same crap outta her every year?
her outfits, set-lists, production and dance sets are practically the same..the only thing that is constant change are her ticket prices. now that she is partnered with the gods of live nation, she is literally rolling in the dough.
don't get me wrong, loved madonna once upon a time..LOVED her. right down to the lace gloves i used to wear during my mom's soccer games.
thought i was forever true blue, crazy for him, totally all about my poppa NOT preaching should i come home knocked up..and everyone's material girl.
now, i think the novelty has worn off...it used to be about being in the same room as the iconic singer...sharing the same air...being witness to musical brilliance...remembering the way you and your friends danced around the room with zit cream on and staring at pictures of your middle school boyfriend...
but now i hate driving to the concert venues because that means i can't drink...and with my booze pals..noone will pony up for designated driving titles (which IS A MUST), everyone carries around anti-bacterial gel for hands and even a pump spray for your breath, i looked for journey, cheap trick tickets just before i wrote this..??...and most of the ladies still have the same moves as when we were teens except these moves aren't physically possible now..hell, the zit cream has turned into botox and brushing out my invisalign retainers before i put on my glasses after i clean my contacts..and that middle school boyfriend i adored with all my heart...is now an angry, rude and complete jerk who turned into exactly what he promised he never would..in between telling me how he used to cheat on me at a gathering for an ill friend...
see what i'm saying?
