    GAY'S ANATOMY

Wednesday, November 5, 2008, 12:35 PM CST [General]

    first of all, WTF.

Am I the only one is sooo bored with drama-rama on the telly? Every second you turn it on..someone's shootin off their mouth, drinking and driving, bustin up their families, or gettin crazy with these storylines gone south before we can enjoy em..and YES, pun intended. wink wink.

So news came that the lesbian chick who was the kidnapped gal in silence of the lambs turned gay on Gay's Anatomy has now been "written out" of the show.

"Written out" means so many things...like...

    -you are ugly..go away.

    -eh, our bad.

-what in the hell do we do with her now?

    -lesbians lesbians...im drawing a blank...

-what does scissor sister mean? i thought that was a band..

-the suits upstairs said enough..enough of the carpet.

So naturally this very nice actress who took a bold move in her career whether she is a lesbian or not...is gone. done and gone.

I am pissed. WTF. Now, I see all of the stories of them not firing her because of the gay character or that everyone is okay because Callie is still gay on the show..but to that I say..something smells rotten in the state of Denmark. Shhhh. I know.

I'm annoyed because they've been axing all of the shows I have tried participating in...and being a loyal fan of Gay's (ok, yes I missed three weeks or so to go out with a super hot boy but still a fan nevertheless!) but COME ON.

I was jazzed to see them get it on...I like watching girls! And before you claim that I'm perv T. let's realize that this is really our first gay gay relationship on a hit show of this nature.

I was lookin forward to the episodes of :

    "joni loves joni"

    "she did her"

    "where's that scalpel, hun?"

    "dr. lick-a-lotta"

    "mountains and valleys"

I'm sad. There is no getting around it..or under it. Or in it.

What an amusing time to become so poetic...at least I can still amuse MYSELF.

    THANKS FOR NOTHIN' ANTI-GAY'S ANATOMY!

    My Prayer for Jennifer Hudson

Tuesday, October 28, 2008, 10:02 PM CST [General]

Everyday I wish good things..pray before I go to sleep..and remember to be grateful for the people and things I have in my life..and every now and then..I realize I could be doing more..

I've met Jennifer several times..and now she frequents our studios here at KISS on a regular basis..I like her because she always came into the studios as herself. Cute jean jacket, minimal make-up that's naturally beautiful and a smile..which was a sure indication to me that she was going places.

Since friday, I've been thinking about her and in thought, I get frustrated trying to understand why things like this happen to people. Why we have to experience heartbreak..hurt eachother and co-exist next to the person who could ultimately take something from you that you can never get back.

I feel so terrible..and it's taken me this long to put my thoughts into words. I wanted so badly to write this though because I want the severity of this situation to remind those who push it aside, or live life the wrong way..or forget to hug the ones they love..to remember that in  a second, things can change. I had to learn that the hard way, suffering the death of a best friend. I never talk about it but I can't deny that I walk around half-hearted somedays.

You can go a whole day putting off the things you should be doing..thinking everything's okay..or that you will get to it later...and not even realize what could or has happened..then in retrospect you realize..had I just picked up the phone..or said what I meant..or showed how I felt..because one day..you can pick up the phone to call but that person will never answer again.

Jennifer did speak of her family often when she came to visit and you could tell that she was a family person. Which I welcome because I too am a hardcore family person. I enjoyed the down-to-earth conversation that sometimes you don't get with celebrities.

So even though people get upset and angry that it took a celebrity to make waves about murder and tragedy..or what about the people who get murdered everyday..I say to them..yes, it is unfortunate. You're right.

But why are we arguing about who is dead or who else is dying? Why aren't we arguing against the people who are ruining lives and threatening our world? Instead of arguing, why aren't we fighting to keep everyone safe?

And yes I am sad about the tragedies our world suffers daily. No, it's not fair that because she's a celebrity she gets so much attention..but at least it's attention to what the real problem is! She can't help that she's a celebrity..they don't have special treatment..can't you see? I do think it's heartless to override the fact that her family has been ripped away from her but people are upset that she gets publicity because of it? Wipe your conscience!

Either way, we SHOULD NOT judge...because no matter how you try to argue it, she is in a world of hurt right now and does not deserve anyone's judgement. EVER.

Plus, she is a friend to us..so it DOES hit home and those of you who have suffered tragedy on any level know that compassion is the driving force of this issue. We suffer and learn compassion..we need compassion. It's a gift to feel compassion..give compassion and receive compassion. It's human.

It is a terribly sad day that I pray will turn soon with all the faith in the world.

I hope you will join me in good thoughts and prayers for not only The Hudson Family but our World.

All the love and support with faith and prayer to Jennifer Hudson.

    God Bless Everyone.
