Most books I look at and read are either craft books on how to make interesting things or they are Graphic Design related to perfecting my craft.

Okay so I was walking home from work, and you know when yur walking you generally look around at what's going on. I was getting close to home when I realized there was a squirrel hopping in front of me. Now being that there are tons of squirrels around HERE, I must remind that after living in Arizona for 3 years, squirrels are something you just don't see.
Anywho, back on the subject, I was following a squirrel and noticed...I was being followed by another squirrel. I WAS BEING STOCKED!!! (or I had my own squirrel escort service)
I pondered on the thought of...what if a squirrel broke into your apartment and was running loose???
Of course it would be freaking out and running all over the place(think of Scrat from Ice Age). Then your freaking out so you hide in a closet.
Who do you call???
Since I'm new here I would call the radio station because I don't know anyone else and the cops would probably laugh at me so why not embarrass yourself on the radio...So you would whisper "help there's a squirrel in my apartment!" Then the person on the other line would say something like "What? I can't hear you."
Your Respose would be "Shh.. the squirrel will hear you!!!

Poppin the Cherry Blog!
Okay, so my first week here, my boss and co-workers invite me to this party to network and meet other designers. Cool thing - open bar with a 2 drink minimum. Since I was the driver I had to stay sober but my boss and work colleagues indulged themselves and get a little slushed. It was an interesting night.
This woman came up to me and was loving my hair. I have curly hair and I put it up with 2 buns in the back showing off the curls. She went off on how cute it looked, then she followed me and saw my boss who also has gorgeous curly hair. Thy started talking and the woman was getting closer and closer to me.
After about 10 minutes of hearing all about this woman, she started hanging all over me and hugging me, she was beyond drunk and my work colleagues were cracking up over the look on my face. Apparently I had this look on my face. Well i was getting hit on by a woman, and I was sober so things weren't the same kind of funny as it was to the drunk people around me-lol but it was funny!
I especially remember the comment "til I had ice cream to put on the cone" that was an interesting phrase. The party was over, and we all had to leave the area. I was walking out and one thing led to another and her and one of my co-workers disappeared.
I later found out that "she" use to be a "he" I was shocked "she" never looked like a "he" so the doc did a good job. But that was my first weekend here. I will say it was an unforgettable one.
I have nothing against anyone just sharing my story and keep you informed to my next adventure.
